FRIDAY - IT'S THE WEEKEND - WHAT'S A WEEKEND?

This morning it is John's view of the sunrise and watching the ship come alive.

As Maggie Smith said in Downton Abbey, "What's a weekend?", but when you cruise, every day is a weekend!!

We have been traveling for eighteen days, the first part with a Southerly course so we haven't moved the clocks ahead. Now on a Westerly course, we will be setting it back almost every day.

The Lido deck, level 9, aft is an ideal spot to grab some coffee and a deck chair and enjoy the sunrise with a few other earlybirds. My "sunrise" watch is just behind the casual dining area. The food service opened some serving windows, pictured here, but is not in full operation until 6:30 AM.
