SUNRISE AT CAYMAN ISLANDS

1/6/2025 - Every sunrise is beautiful and unique; we plan to share many along the way.

We aren’t going ashore at Cayman Islands because John says if you’ve seen one Caribbean Island, you’ve seen them all! How many Diamonds International can you visit? I’m trying to “pace” John’s Excursions. He says he’s here for the “journey” not the destination and I want to do everything! We’re compromising! So far, the “journey” has been great!!

We did learn in the lecture yesterday that Cayman Islands enjoys it’s tax free status (and has become a banking mecca) because years ago (1800’s?) the King’s son was on a ship that shipwrecked off the Islands and in gratitude for the islanders saving his son, the King of England declared Cayman Islands would never be taxed – no business, property or even person income taxes.
